TopOCR is an optical character recognition application for Windows. Its main purpose is to allow users of mobile devices to snap pictures of any text and then convert those pictures into a text file.
Once the text is loaded into the right-side panel, you can read it and correct any mistakes. When you are done, you can save the text to an array of different formats. Here is where TopOCR stands out from the rest: it has a text-to-speech engine. It can read the text out loud for you and you can even pause the playback or skip specific parts. Also, you can save the sound to both .WAV and MP3 formats. The Text Window has every feature you would expect from a text editor, including a very complete spell checking tool.
